The sacraments of our communion service are available to all baptized Christians who come to the Lord’s Supper with a humble and repentant heart. We also look to provide communion of bread and wine through Lay Eucharist Ministers to those who are unable to join us in church, such as those in assisted living communities. Communion is a ritual in which we celebrate our union with Jesus Christ and each other.
We began services on the first Sunday in Advent—November 29, 2020. We videotaped this service at the PALS Church located at 6415 Schoolhouse Road in Bealeton, Virginia. (We want to thank the congregation at PALS church for opening their hearts and church for our work.) Our services are broadcast on COMCAST 190 and YouTube. Communion elements are distributed to Assisted Living communities and baptized Christians in our community that are unable to join us for service upon request. Please contact us to discuss how you can participate in these services.
Some portions of our communion service have verbal responses and prayers from the congregation. We encourage you to join in wherever you are as you view this video. You can obtain a digital copy of the 1928 Book of Common Prayer http://justus.anglican.org/resources/bcp/1928/BCP_1928.htm or you may buy a hardback copy from Christian booksellers such as Christianbook.com. With COVID precautions in place, we do have in-person services. Please contact us if you wish to discuss joining us or meet face-to-face.
